Get to know Daniela
Daniela Langen is doctoral researcher at the Department of (Social) Ethics. From 2020 to 2024, she was also part of the Dean's Office at the Faculty of Protestant Theology
She studied Philosopy and Art at the University of Hildesheim and Philosophy at the University of Bonn, from 2012 to 2016, she was a fellow of the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes. Since 2020, she is a doctoral student at the University of Hildesheim. In her dissertation project she develops an alterity theory of shame by focusing on phenomenological and post-structuralist perspectives, especially those of Emmanuel Levinas, Jacques Derrida and Hélène Cixous.
After finishing her Master's degree, Daniela started working at an advertising agency and another publishing house. During her Master's studies, she did an internship at Felix Meiner Publishing House, Hamburg.
