PD Dr. Ruben Bühner has been accepted into the Junges Kolleg of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences, Humanities and the Arts.
Although video games represent a significant part of contemporary (popular) culture and are often permeated by religious elements - as shown by the example of Assassin's Creed or BioShock Infinite - they receive almost no attention in contemporary theology. This is where the “Religion Digital” project comes in by making digital media the subject and vehicle of academic reflection.
The first volume of the annotated translation of the Acts of the 3rd Ecumenical Council has just been published!
The volume was edited by Prof. Dr. Wolfram Kinzig and Dr. Thomas Brüggemann and edited by Dr. Thomas Brüggemann and Dr. Sabine Lütkemeyer with the assistance of Dr. Julia Beier.
The project 'The Acts of the Council of Ephesus 431: Translation, Introduction, Commentary and Index', from which this volume originates, is being funded by the DFG as part of a long-term project. Two further volumes will follow in 2025 and 2026.
Together with an interdisciplinary team of researchers from SMART Start, Hannah Bleher co-authored an article in "BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth"
In fall 2024, Drew Davis was in Nijmegen via the ERASMUS mobility for lecturers

How to Find Us by Bus and Train
Go by train until Bonn Central Station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof). The building "Rabinstraße 8" is a 10 min walk from the main train station (follow the tracks on the left as you look towards the city).
The buildings “An der Schlosskirche 2-4” and "Am Hofgarten 8" are located next to the famous yellow main building, a 10 min walk from the main train station in the direction of the city.
How to Find Us by Car
If you go by car to the faculty, we recommend choosing one of the car parks. The closest one to the Rabinstraße is the "DB BahnPark Parkhaus Hauptbahnhof City", Am alten Friedhof 17, 53111 Bonn.
If you are heading for the building "An der Schloßkirche", we recommend the Unigarage, Regina-Pacis-Weg 3, 53113 Bonn. It is also close to the Theological Library and the Schlosskirche.
