During his stay, Athanasios Despotis gave lectures at the National and Kapodistrian University with a special focus on the relationship between religion, philosophy and rhetoric in antiquity.
He also met with lecturers and students to expand cooperation between the faculties in Bonn and Athens – with success! In the coming semesters, the faculty can look forward to visits from Erasmus students and lecturers from Athens.
An Erasmus stay in Athens is also an attractive option for students from Bonn: In addition to attending courses, they have the opportunity to explore numerous museums and ancient monuments that are relevant to the study of early Christianity.
